Colorless, thick liquid. Poisonous. d16 1.109. bp20 83°; dec about 85°. Miscible with water, alcohol, ether. LD50 orally in rats: 2.18 g/kg (Smyth).

Caution

Direct contact may cause irritation of skin, eyes, mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract.

Use

Manuf rubber vulcanizers, accelerators and age resisters; in perfumes; ore flotation.
