Properties

Hydrate, bright-green, monoclinic, prismatic crystals. d17.5 1.78. Affected by light. Loses 3 H2O by 100°, decomp at 160-170°. Very sol in water; practically insol in alcohol. Protect from light.

Use

In photography, blueprints; in coloring of Al and Al alloys.
