Leaflets from alc. d 1.315. mp 163°. Sublimes. Distills without decompn. bp10 117-119°. Absorption spectrum: Crymble, J. Chem. Soc. 99, 459 (1911). Insoluble in water. One gram dissolves in 60 ml alc, 7 ml boiling alc. Slightly sol in ether.
