Properties
Rhombic crystals from dil alc; mp 66-66.5°. d499.6 1.4970 (liq). Very sol in alcohol and ether. Insol in cold water. pKb (25°): 10.28 also reported
as 9.98.Use
In prepn of azo dyes; condensed with formaldehyde
in prepn of dihydroquinazolines.
