Basic salts occur in nature as the minerals:

Properties
Blue or olive orthorhombic crystals or blue to
bluish-green powder. Dec on heating. Practically insol in cold water.
Slightly sol in hot water; sol in acids, NH4OH.Use
Fungicide; catalyst for organic reactions, fertilizer;
emulsifier; corrosion inhibitor for H
3PO
4; protectant
for metal surfaces against oxidation.
