Properties
White needles; very pungent odor; acrid taste.
Poisonous. mp 146-147°. Sol in water, alcohol, ether,
volatile oils.Caution
Causes convulsions, paralysis, death
from respiratory failure. Lacks inhalation hazard.Use
Generally for destroying all lower forms of life.
In taxidermy for preserving insects, butterflies, etc.
