White powder, mp 105.0-105.6°. Vapor press at 20°: 1 × 10-6 mm Hg. Insol in water. Sol in acetone, methanol, xylene. Soly at 20° (g/1000 ml): water 0.0013; dichloromethane >200; n-hexane 2-5; 2-propanol 10-20; toluene 100-200. Light sensitive; decomp by strong alkaline media. LD50 in rats, guinea pigs, rabbits (mg/kg): 1.000 orally in all species (Grewe).
