Colloidal dispersion of radioactive gold (198Au) for parenteral administration.
Properties
Particle diameter range, 3-7 mμ. Has half-life
of 2.7 days and emits beta and gamma radiation. Stable to heat except
autoclaving under pressure. Compatible with saline solns, radiopaque
media and other agents; flocculated by polyvalent metal ion.Therapeutic Category
Antineoplastic.
