Properties

Non-flammable, highly volatile liquid. Characteristic, sweetish, not unpleasant odor. d420 1.871. bp 50.2°; bp243 20°. nD0 1.3697. Sensitive to light, may be stabilized with 0.01% thymol. Soly in water 0.345%. Miscible with petr ether, other fat solvents.

Potential symptoms of overexposure are irritation of eyes, skin, respiratory system; confusion, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, analgesia, anesthesia; cardiac arrhythmia; liver and kidney damage; decreased audio visual performance.
