Properties

Crystals from methanol, mp 178-180°. Sol in alc, water. Very slightly sol in acetone, chloroform. Practically insol in ether. LD50 in male Swiss mice (mg/kg): 17 i.v.; 120 i.p.; 275 orally (Carron, 1970).
