Properties

Brownish-black crystals or very hard solid. d 4.416. mp 40°. bp 116° (decompn). Sol in water, alcohol, ether, carbon disulfide, glacial acetic acid. May be stored in brown glass-stoppered bottles. Keep in a cool place.

Vapors are corrosive to the eyes and mucous membranes.
