Liquid. d425 0.724. mp 85°. bp 68-69°. nD17 1.3988. Flammable, corrosive. Miscible with water, alcohol, ether. LD50 (14 day) in male, female rats (mg/kg): 224.4, 231.8 orally (Cheever).

Caution

Skin contact can result in erythema, blistering. Inhalation causes headache, dryness of nose and throat.
