White crystalline solid, mp 176-179°. Soly at 25° (mg/ml): methanol 50-100; ethyl acetate 50-100; acetonitrile 30-50; toluene 4-5; hexane 0.07-0.08; water 0.001-0.002. Vapor pressure at 30°: <3.9 × 107 mm Hg. LD50 in mice, rats (mg/kg): >10000 orally both species; LC50 in rats by inhalation: >1.99 mg/l (Huggenberger, 1982).
