Volatile oil from leaves of Melaleuca
viridiflora (Soland.) Gaertn., Myrtaceae. Constit. About 65% cineol, about 30% terpineol, limonene and d-pinene combined.

Slightly yellow liquid; aromatic odor; pungent,

or glycerol; sol in alcohol, benzene, ether.Therapeutic Category
