fruit of Citrus vulgaris Risso (C. bigaradia Loisel.), Rutaceae. Constit. 40-80% linalyl acetate;
geraniol, geranyl acetate, limonene.

to -1.37°. nD20 1.4623. Slightly
sol in water; sol in 2 vols 80% alcohol. Keep
well closed, cool and protected from light.Use
In perfumes.
