Properties
Pearly lustrous scales, mp 187-190° (dec). Soluble in ≈1250 parts water;
slightly sol in alcohol, moderately in glycerol. Practically insol
in other usual organic solvents. LD50 in mice (mg/g): 0.045 s.c.; 0.027 i.v. (Wien).Use
Pharmaceutic aid (antimicrobial). Tree wound dressing.
