Prepn from ethylenediamine, ethylenediamine hydrochloride, and methyl 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-naphthoate: Synerholm et al., US 2731471 (1956 to Sahyun Labs.). Use as potentiator for veterinary depressants: Gardocki et al., US 2842478 (1958 to Pfizer).
