Histamine H1-receptor antagonist.
Prepd by treating the sodium salt of 2-(p-methoxybenzyl)aminopyrimidine

Properties
Crystals, mp 173-176° (free base, oily liq, bp2.2 185-187°). Freely sol
in water; sol in alcohol, chloroform. Practically insol in ether.
