Properties
Triclinic pinacoidal crystals from alcohol. Sweet
taste. Becomes anhydr at 100°, then melts at 146°. Slightly sol
in boiling water; freely sol in alcohol, benzene, ether, acetone,
boiling toluene.Derivative
