Properties
Platelets from alc, d 1.69. mp 52.6°. bp 221°. nD19 1.5776. Flash pt 113°C (235.4°F). Volatile with steam. Insol in water.
Sparingly sol in alc. Freely sol in benzene, carbon disulfide.Caution

A commercial grade (mixture of isomeric trichlorobenzenes)
is used to combat termites.
