Usually contains about 85% zinc cyanide, some
water and oxide.
Properties
White powder. Poisonous. Insol in water. Sol in solns of alkali cyanides or hydroxides;
not appreciably attacked by organic acids, but readily dec by dil
mineral acid with evolution of hydrogen cyanide.Use
Electroplating; removing NH
3 from producer
gas.
