Crystals from hot methanol, mp 283-284°. [α]D20 23.4° (50% methanol). Sol in dil alcohol; less sol in methanol, ethanol; slightly sol in water. Practically insol in ether. MLD in guinea pigs: 0.85 μMole/kg, Klup, Arch. Exp. Pathol. Pharmakol. 252, 314 (1966).
