Crystals from benzene, mp 86.5-86.8°. Practically insol in water. Solubilities at 25° in g/100 ml: 95% alcohol 1.4; acetone 130.0; carbon tetrachloride 41.0; cyclohexanone 110.0; ethylene dichloride 110.0; xylene 78.0; petr oils 2.0-2.7.
