Description and references
Prepd by fusing anhydr sodium acetate with
sodamide in an atm of nitrogen at 200°: DePree, Closson, J. Am. Chem. Soc. 80, 2311 (1958).
Properties
Light gray solid. Stable in dry air. Dec 280°.
Insol in hydrocarbons and ethers. Dec by water into sodium acetate
and sodium hydroxide.Status
