Crystalline solid, mp 83°. nD25 1.5839. Soly in water at 30°: 6 ppm. Moderately sol in ketones and aromatic solvents. Vapor press at 25°: 1.32 × 105 mm Hg. Toxic to fish and bees. LD50 in mice (mg/kg): 46 orally, 145 s.c., 45 i.p.; LD50 in male, female rats (mg/kg): 60, 28.5 orally (Nishizawa).
