For a 0.05m solution Dissolve 2.7835 g of potassium bromate and 13 g of potassium bromide in sufficient water to produce 1000 mL. (This solution is equivalent to 0.0167m bromide-bromate of the European Pharmacopoeia).

Store in a dark amber-coloured bottle.
