Future Visions of Drug Development |

There is significant potential for leveraging IT to obtain substantive changes in the pharmaceutical industry. But to focus on the implementation of IT as a sole enabler would be misplaced. There is no doubt that new developments in IT will provide significant opportunities, but simultaneous consideration of people and process is also necessary to achieve the desired business goals. Too often, companies disregard the fact that their business processes may need to change, and their people may struggle to accept any changes without appropriate consultation. |
