Description
Typhoid fever, or typhoid, caused by Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi is a systemic febrile disease and endemic disease in many areas of the world, mainly in developing countries. Typhoid is transmitted through ingestion of contaminated water or food and characterized by a variable incubation period ranging from three days to one month.
