Vibrio parahaemolyticus infection

Description

Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a Gram-negative halophilic bacterium that naturally inhabits marine and estuarine environments. It is a well-recognized pathogen of both aquatic animals and humans. In the case of humans, it is often acquired through the consumption of raw or undercooked seafood, causing gastroenteritis with watery diarrhea.
