Minute, glistening, golden crystals. Soluble
in water or alcohol with green color. Absorption
max: 623 nm.
Soln changes color from yellow to green at pH 0.0 to 2.6. LD100 i.v. in mice:
3 mg/kg (Anderson).Use
Dyeing silk, wool, leather, jute and cotton yellowish-green;
manuf green ink; biological stain; indicator.
