Crystals with pleasant, very sweet taste. Freely
sol in water. Practically insol in alc, benzene, chloroform, ether.
pH of 10% aq soln 5.5-7.5. Said to be more resistant to cooking
temps than saccharin.Non-nutritive sweetener.
