Properties
Orthorhombic octahedral crystals. d 2.87. Loses water on heating, becoming
anhydr by 250°; loses SO3 to form a basic salt above 650°.
Soluble in water.Use
Developing aniline black; said to be superior to
vanadium for this purpose.
