Properties

White to brownish, tasteless, odorless crystals or powder, mp 262-264° (dec). Sparingly sol in methanol; slightly sol in chloroform; very slightly sol in water. Decomposes slowly when exposed to light. LD50 in mice, rats (mg/kg): 3400, 2950 i.p.; >5490, >5490 s.c.; 3800, 4000 orally (Nakanishi, 1970).
