Description and references

Compound of variable composition. Usually considered to be CuHAsO3; mol wt 187.46. Also reported as Cu(AsO2)2: Bhadraver, Bull. Chem. Soc. Jpn. 35, 1770 (1962). Properties

Yellowish-green powder. Poisonous. Practically insol in water, alcohol. Sol in acids, ammonia.

As pigment, wood preservative, insecticide, fungicide, rodenticide.
