Properties
Three forms of anhydrous compd exist: powder-blue,
turquoise, or royal blue crystals. Sol in water. Practically insol
in most organic solvents.Derivative

Very pale blue, monoclinic needles. Loses 2H2O on standing in air. Turquoise, anhydrous modification formed
by dehydration at 100° in vacuo over phosphoric oxide.
