Description and references

Originally thought to be 2-(1-methylheptyl)-4,6-dinitrophenyl butenoate, it is actually a mixture of 2(or 4)-octyl-4,6(or 2,6)-dinitrophenyl butenoate in which the octyl is a mixture of 1-methylheptyl, 1-ethylhexyl, and 1-propylpentyl.
