Minute crystals, mp 131-133°. bp10 225°. Sol in ethyl acetate, acetone, caprolactam solns, dioctylphthalate, oleyl alcohol, hot petrolatum. Stable to conditions and chemicals used in polymerization or compounding of plastics.

Use

An ultraviolet light absorber for stabilizing plastics and other organic materials against discoloration and deterioration.
