Properties

Light yellow to dark brown hygroscopic crystals. mp 684°. d425 4.63. Very sol in water and alcohol. Keep tightly closed.

Derivative

Hexahydrate.

Properties

Pale green to bluish-green rhombic prisms. Forms tetrahydrate at 49°; dihydrate at 83°. Rapidly oxidized in moist air. Keep tightly closed.

Use

Polymerization catalyst.
