Properties

Pale yellow oil, solidifies to crystals, mp 72-73° (Beriger). Also reported as white crystals, mp 75° (Haddow). Sol in acetone, xylene. Slightly sol in alcohol. Soly in water: <2 ppm. LD50 in rats, female mice (mg/kg): 2100, >10000, orally (Haddow, Marks).
