Colorless or slightly yellow liquid; becomes brown

sol in alc, ether. LD in rabbits (g/kg): 0.28 orally; in rabbits, cats (mg/kg): 24, 24 i.v. (Treon).Caution
Potential symptoms of overexposure
are weakness, dizziness and headache; dyspnea, cyanosis; methemoglobinemia;
