Properties

Crystals, mp 35-36°. bp 119°. nD37 1.5258. Poisonous; flammable. Slightly sol in water; freely sol in alcohol, ether. LD50 in rats, mice (mg/kg): 220, 110 orally; in rabbits (mg/kg): 33 dermally (Vernot). LD50 s.c. in mice: 0.05 g/kg (Klesse, Lukoschek).
