Description and references
In leaves of Nicotiana tabacum L.
and Atropa belladonna L. By reducing N-methylpyrrole
with zinc granules in dil acetic or hydrochloric acid.
Properties
Almost colorless liquid. Unpleasant, ammonia-like
odor. Fumes in air. bp 79-80°. Strong base. Miscible with water; sol in alcohol, ether,
chloroform.
