Properties
Colorless to slightly yellow, odorless crystals;
sweetish, then burning taste. d4120 1.270. mp 113-114°. Sublimes; slightly volatile with
steam. Moderately sol in cold water, freely in alcohol, chloroform,
ether; also sol in solns of fixed alkali hydroxides and carbonates.
LD50 orally in
mice, rats: 467, 616 mg/kg, K.C. Back et al., Reclassification of Materials Listed as

1972).Use
Manuf of pharmaceuticals, fungicides, dyes. Indicator
