Fresh rind of ripe fruit of C. aurantium, var sinensis (also known as C. sinensis). Constit. Volatile oil, hesperidine, fixed oil, resin, gum, tannin. Closely resembles bitter orange peel, but has an orange-yellow color; sweetish, fragrant odor; aromatic and only slightly bitter taste.
