Properties

Colorless, clear, strongly fuming liquid; pungent odor. d25 1.645. bp 105.8°; mp 1.25°: J. R. Van Wazer, Phosphorus and Its Compounds vol. 1 (Interscience, New York, 1958) p 254. Reacts exothermically with water, alc. Corrosive; poisonous. Keep in tightly closed containers.
