Properties

Crystals from alc-ether, mp 167-169°. Stable in air. One gram dissolves in 1.5 ml water, 4.5 ml alcohol. Sol in alc, chloroform. Practically insol in ether, fixed oils. LD50 in mice (mg/20g): 9 s.c.; in rats (mg/kg): 129 i.p. (Koelzer).
