Crystals from isopropyl alc, mp 207-209°. Soluble in water; stable to mild attack by acids or bases. LD50 in rats, mice (mg/kg): 1500, 700 orally; 60, 35 i.v.; 130, 130 i.p.; in rats (mg/kg): >300 s.c. (Morsdorf).
