Properties
Crystals. mp 177-179°. Slightly bitter taste. Slightly sol in water;
freely sol in alcohol, glacial acetic acid, acetone, alkalies. Sparingly
sol in ether, chloroform, benzene. MLD orally in rabbits: 300-350 mg/kg (Maloney).Note
