White crystals, mp 92-93°. bp0.2 220°. Practically insol in water (0.3 × 10-6 g/ml at 20°). Soly in acetone, ethanol, benzene, xylene at 20° (g/ml): 0.11, 0.009, 0.29, 0.12. LD50 in male, female rats, male, female mice (mg/kg): 1670, 1480, 2350, 2360 orally; all 10,000 dermally. LC50 (96 hr) in rainbow trout: 10.7 mg/l (Sakata).
