Properties

Crystals or cryst powder; slowly darkens on exposure to light. mp 657°; dec 1085°. d 5.45. Slowly sol in 125 parts water, 71 parts boiling water; sol in nitric acid, ammonia, concd sulfuric acid. Soly in AgNO3 solns: Lietzke, Stoughton, J. Inorg. Nucl. Chem. 28, 1877 (1966). Protect from light.
